Bed arrived in three manageable boxes so was really easy to transport to upstairs bedroom. Instructions need to be read a few times as not as clear to what the top and bottom part of frame is as look similar. The instructions shows the main bottom side base panels come fully fitted with gas struts, but ours had only one end of struts fitted with other end not connected already as shown in instructions! We found out why when we tried to attach them and found they were jammed in open position so bed would not close down. We took the disconnected struts to show the Female managers in Store who agreed they were jammed and immediately via laptop contacted customer services for replacement. Unfortunately they were not so bright insisting as they were not missing parts but were already assembled that we should take our bed apart and re pack in boxes and return bed for replacement!! Luckily the shop manager agreed with us that it would be easier for everyone if they just took gas struts off the replacement bed and posted them to us! They did this and they worked perfect once fitted ! One other little point is the supplied garden style weed control sheet for bottom of bed storage which is held on by just velcro comes away with only just a couple of spare pillows sitting on them plus factory cut sheet fails to reach the four corners !
All in all otherwise a nice looking bed and very helpful on the ball staff and managers in our Barnstaple branch as usual on every visit !
