We love using the Colby Washable Rug to inject some traditional design in every room in the house, the machine washable quality makes it ideal for even messy rooms like the kitchen and bathroom.Re-roll your rug pile out for 24 hours to reduce curling. Regularly turn to ensure even wear. A small amount of fibre loss is normal. Don’t pull loose fibres, just trim with scissors. An anti-slip mat will help prevent slipping. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth. Do not rub. Machine wash at 30 without detergent and line dry. Safe for use on a heated floor. Use a suction type vacuum – rotating brushes may damage this rug.

I’ve had my eye on this rug for a while but it was always sold out (80x150cm in red). It looks much more expensive than it is and it washed well. Colour is perhaps a little lighter than the online photos but still beautiful. When washing, take the label off the back. I didn’t and my machine was full of paper mush after.

Love this rug. Especially love that although it came folded in its own bag it lay flat on my kitchen floor laminate. It has a rubberised finish on the back so no need for non-slip mat underneath. The fact that it’s washable is an added bonus. Looks beautiful.
