Ok I was so excited for this big purchase to arrive. It arrived in a cardboard box and cover, I found it so hard on my own to manoeuvre it out of the box as they say if you don’t like it then it has to be sent back in packaging. Ok, so got it out the colour hit me with Cupid’s arrow I fell in love instantly, I have a severe lower back problem but found it easy to pull the bed part out, laid on it very comfortable, my guests will be pleased for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Now for the negative, the sofa is marked as velvet, my last sofa was crushed velvet and very very soft and comfortable I found this velvet hard, difficult to explain but it was like velvet on this cardboard not soft and I was disappointed that is wasn’t as soft as the material sister of the same name that is on display in the stores. I’m guessing that sofa comfort is exchanged for having a double bed sofa bed?
I bought an olive fur throw to go on top for comfort and to protect it from my little dog who I said would never be allowed on it but is currently on the first night snuggled on it with me. 🙄
So my review is, for the price it is a stunning looking sofa a brilliant bed just not as soft as I would have liked.
Foot note, the delivery drivers are lovely, from ordering to extremely quick delivery 3 days later and emails to give me a 4 hour window plus a phone call one hour before arrival, I would definitely order from Dunelm again. I hope this helps you. I wish there had been a review to help me decided but all in all I would in hine sight buy it ☺️

The bed literally slides out like magic no effort needed and I have a bad back beautiful colour my only negative is I don’t like the cushions you sit on, it’s not soft and feel like cheap velvet on thin cardboard I threw a throw on it because I had already taken it out of the packaging and was told it had to be replaced for return I’m disabled so that would be impossible but I have had beautiful comments on the look of the sofa

This sofa bed is great in both of its forms. Looks so nice and the mattress is good too. Very easy basic assembly. Delivery team were great.

Gorgeous colour, looks very classy. A little firm to sit on, but sofa beds tend to be. Overall we are very happy with it.

I purchased this sofa bed to give my girls a room
Each. I adore the sofa as well as being transferred into a bed. The only addition that I added was some roll out bed slats on top to add extra comfort. I’m guessing with an upgrade to a gel memory foam mattress, I doubt I will get out of bed! Honestly sure is a fab buy

Good sofabed – first replaced due to faulty mechanism. Dunhelm customer service very good though and replacement was organised with minimal hassle.
